New York man charged in 1981 Ogden rape
February 4, 2010 -- Attorney General Steve Six announced today that Daniel Lee Brewer (55) of Queens, New York, has been charged with raping two women in Ogden, Kansas, in 1981.
Brewer was arrested in New York on Thursday, January 28, 2010. He is currently being held at Rikers Island in New York. The State of Kansas has started the process to extradited Brewer back to Kansas. This process will take 60 to 90 days.
These are only allegations and Brewer is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. More information will be released when it is available.
