The Attorney General’s Office works with local law enforcement to fight crime and protect the safety and welfare of Kansas families.
Resources within the Attorney General’s Office:
The Criminal Litigation Division assists local prosecutors and law enforcement with the investigation and prosecution of criminal cases.
The Crime Victims' Rights Program helps to coordinate local crime victim and witness assistance programs and offers direct assistance to crime victims and their families.
The Office of Consumer Protection investigates scams, mediates and prosecutes violations of consumer protection acts and provides helpful information to consumers.
The Concealed Carry Unit maintains information and trainer resources for the Kansas Family Protection Act.
The LOGIC Division researches and prepares legal opinions for certain public officials that may resolve legal disputes and also provides legal advice to professional licensing boards and other governmental agencies.
