Keeping Sex Predators Behind Bars
The Attorney General’s Office is responsible for the civil commitment of sexual predators in the state. Under Kansas law, a sexual offender can be incarcerated indefinitely if the state can prove that the offender is likely to continue to commit violent sexual crimes.
The Attorney General’s Office has increased the safety of Kansas families by keeping more than 160 dangerous predators off our streets and behind bars.
