New Consumer Workshops

Attorney General Steve Six has committed himself to protecting Kansas consumers from scams, fraud and other unscrupulous business practices. In addition to investigating, prosecuting and litigating consumer complaints, Six developed a prevention program to educate Kansas consumers before they become a victim.

The new Consumer Awareness Workshops are conducted by experienced staff from the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. They travel to communities all across the state to teach consumers how to avoid scams and protect their identities.

If your organization would like to host a Consumer Awareness Workshop in your community, please fill our our presentation request form.

Workshop topics include:

  • Identity Theft
  • Tips for Senior Consumers
  • Being a Smart Consumer
  • Telemarketing and Junk Mail
Note: Presentation requests will be honored at the discretion of the Attorney General's Consumer Protection and Antitrust Division according to available resources.
