Sept. 19, 2007 -- Attorney General Paul Morrison announced today that First Degree Murder charges have been filed in Doniphan County against Tamara Sue Kostman for the death of her infant.The state alleges that on or about June 19, 2007, Kostman killed her infant son, Dillon Kostman Trant, shortly after his birth. Bond has been set at $1 million.
The Attorney General’s Office will be working with Doniphan County Attorney Charles Baskins. Kostman had her first appearance this morning and the court tentatively scheduled a preliminary hearing for September 27.
These charges are merely allegations and Kostman will be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
