August 7, 2007 -- Attorney General Paul Morrison announced that Catherine Walsh, former City Clerk for Robinson, pled guilty as charged to one count of Theft, a Level 7 Non-Person Felony, and two counts of Making False Information, Level 8 Non-Person Felonies.
Walsh agreed to a recommended departure sentence for Theft of 6 months in prison, payment of $148,452.30 in restitution to the City of Robinson, Kansas, and as a condition of post-release supervision to complete treatment for a gambling addiction.
The defendant agreed to 12 months probation for each count of Making False Information.
Sentencing is set for 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2007.
