Morrison reminds consumers to re-register for the Kansas No-Call List

March 1, 2007 -- Attorney General Paul Morrison today reminded all Kansans who registered for the Kansas No-Call List when it was enacted five years ago to re-register. The original registration is only effective for five years and will expire soon.

“Many consumers are very concerned about unsolicited phone call and telemarketing. In order to continue to avoid those calls, Kansans must re-register every five years,” Morrison said.

Both residential and cellular phone numbers can be registered with the No-Call List. The link below will allow consumers to re-register or register their numbers for the first time.

Kansans can also call toll-free 1-888-382-1222 (or 1-866-290-4236 for TTY), but they must call from the number they wish to register with the list.
