Morrison announces new, innovative AG Web site

www.ksag.org gets a face lift

April 20, 2007 -- Attorney General Paul Morrison announced today the launch of a new online office to assist Kansans. This user-friendly Web site allows consumers to file consumer complaints online and access news and information for families, seniors, victims and law enforcement.

“Our new online office will give Kansans immediate access to information on victims’ rights, child safety, internet safety and consumer issues,” Morrison said. “As we continue to develop better ways to protect and serve Kansans, our new web site will provide easy access to this office’s resources.”

The Consumer Protection Division provides online access to all consumer brochures and fliers available in the Topeka office. The new Web site also includes an online form that instantly submits consumer complaints over the Internet and resources for consumers to sign up for the No-Call List and get tips on the latest scams.

“In an effort to better protect Kansas consumers, we have added more interactive resources, such as an online consumer complaint form, to the Attorney General’s Web site,” Morrison said. “These innovations will make it easier for consumers to get the help and information they need.”

There is wealth of information on numerous topics now available at www.ksag.org, including open government, internet safety, registered sex offenders, concealed carry, consumer protection, senior issues and much more.
